Bacon Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls by Chef Sean Andre
Its a great day for Bacon! If I could marry any food in the world, it would hands down be bacon. I love Bacon, like seriously. Its almost an obsessive love affair that we share. Today I want to share one of my favorite recipes with you. Its a fun recipe that my daughter and I like to make together on Saturday mornings. I have attached a video to demonstrate how she assembled them with a little guidance from me :) I like to teach her that food is best when cooked with simplicity. Often times less is more. Enjoy the recipe and Happy Eating With Chef Sean!
Ingredients:
12 pack- Cinnamon Rolls, icing included
12 each- Layout Bacon
3 tsp- cajun seasoning
1/2 cup- brown sugar
Icing, as needed
Method:
Season bacon with cajun season on both sides. Sprinkle Bacon with brown sugar. Cook the bacon until almost fully cooked, about 3/4 of the way and reserve on the side. Ensure that the bacon is soft and pliable. While the bacon is still warm, roll it into the cinnamon roll. Follow cooking instructions for the cinnamon roll. The bacon will finish cooking as the cinnamon roll bakes. Top with icing and serve hot!
That's it. Enjoy!
